dont stress about it, let him sit with his friends. I am sure if he was having a party and didnt sit you and FH with people you were comfortable with, you would be upset also.

You want your dad to enjoy your day as much as you. Just put him where he wants and dont even think twice about it.

I am, but this is just another example... is it just a guy thing? My FH is so close to his older daughter.....

my dad has no idea what's going on with the wedding! i'm pretty sure he doesn't even know what day it is. LOL! all that matters is that my mom tells him to get dressed that morning and show up! but my dad is notorious for this....i'm 1 of 4 girls and he has trouble just calling us by the right name!

I'm sorry, I know your upset, but that's pretty funny. My dad would be the same way! Well, who am I kidding? I would too! And to answer your poll about who gives less of a s**t, I would have to say FH...my dad gives his 2 cents constantly re: how much money I'm spending.

Thats true - I love him, and its his personality, and I have to remember people's personalities dont change just cuz we are getting married!
