How bad is this? I never sent thank you’s for my shower. My shower was on July 19. I just got so caught up with everything. Totally undermined it. Do you think it will be OK to express thanks for a shower gift in a wedding thank you or should I do the shower thanks asap now?

They are two separate events. I think, IMO, it's sort of rude not to send out a thank you for a shower gift. Your shower was not that long ago. I would get them out ASAP.
I mean, you wouldn't expect people to come to both events and only give you one gift, right?

imo..its a bit rude to send out them together..i would go to cvs or something and just buy some standerd thank you

It's rude not to send a thank you note. People remember these types of things.

My shower was June 27th and I STILL havne't sent mine out. They will go in the mail this coming Sunday.....THEY HAVE to go out before the wedding and in no way should they be combined with wedding thank you's.
People took time to come to the shower and to purchase a gift....they should be acknowledged for that.
Please, be sure to get this done before the wedding. People will understand that you were caught up with everything and will smile knowing that despite that, you took the time to say thank you.

Yep, I'm with the majority, send them out asap. People will DEF.remember if you don't send them out. We threw a baby shower for a now ex coworker two years ago and no one received a thank you and it still peeves me!

Get the shower thank you's out asap! I always take notice when I give a gift and never receive a thank you and it irks me big time!

you should normally try to write tshower thank yous within 1 month so its not THAT long ago for you... definitely write them out asap... and send a separate one for the wedding

You still have a lot of time before your wedding. I wrote all my shower thank yous in a week, just taking a little time every night after work. You should do the same, IMO. You really should send thank yous for the shower.

dont have that many to do... i did sent few to FH's family right a way (his aunt and cousins) i have to do thank you's to my friends and my family
i never send a thank you card to my FMIL who helped to organize the shower. i expressed my thanks verbally many times. i have no idea what to do there... i want to give her some gift w/ card. i dont see myself sending her a card now. any ideas for the gift
