Thanks it wasn't from this site, it was another... the lurker was able surmise the rest thru process of elimination. Thankfully no major damage done...but it's still enough to shake you... My new policy is less is more.

This is pretty scary. Sorry you had to go through that. People who do those type of scams will use any information available. I see some people in here put links to web pages they had created of their relationship and will even put their date of births, parent names etc...
In this age of identity theft, I will not disclose such information especially if you have a phone that is not private. That information shows on the web and you can get your last name, and even who your neighbor is. I may be a little paranoid with that (just being a bit cautious) than to be sorry later on. Once that happens, it's really hard to get your name cleared up and you spent $$$ in lawyers and stuff like that.
