new 08'er here.

getting married in October. Wanted to get some input from you girls. I was married once b/f, my FH was not. I had the big crazy wedding, and now i want to do something simply get married in a church. And have a really nice dinner for about 60 close family and friends. Doest that sound cheap or not enough. I dont have the strength or the money to have a big wedding again. Advice needed.??

As long as you and FH are on the same page with a small intimate wedding it sounds wonderful.

He says he doesnt mind at all and that he understands about not wanting to plan that whole big wedding.

Congrats and welcome. When I began plannign that was my idea, but now its something totally different. While searching I found this great Italian Restaurant in Brooklyn by the water which had a banquet room overlooking the water, it was gorgeous, and the price was varied from $35 to $75 per person, depending on what you wanted, buffet, sit down, day, time, etc.

Its called IL Fornetto, google it or FM me for more info.

I went to a wedding witha bout 60 people at a beautiful restaurant in Boston. It was intimate and amazing! Because of the smaller amount of people we had some AMAZING wine. I thought it was great.
