then tackle your biggies, i.e. what you want most/feel is most important. try to book the biggies sooner than later so you can relax later on.

i think in order i did RH, officiant, dj, and then i started buying a ton of stuff for all my DIYs. use LIW, pinterest, wedding bee, wedding chicks, style me pretty, everything you can find about weddings basically to get an idea of what you want and love! have FUN!

Wow you have so much done already, impressive!

No problem!

Right after we got engaged, I booked EVERYTHING - even the hotel block is set - because I wanted to be able to a) enjoy being engaged b) have answers for all of our friends and family who jumped right into asking a million questions lol and c) not deal with anythinggggg except doing diy since this next school year is my tenure year.

A lot of us are super-planned, but a lot aren't, so there are tons of resources on here to help you out if needed! Good luck

Don't rush yourself unnecessarily if you don't have to. I think the most important thing is the place and date, once you have that you can sort of relax a little.

I got engaged in March. All we have done is the RH and date. I am going to listen some bands this week and probably make an appt to look at dresses... but I ripped out some styles that I liked from magazines.

There's really no set order for things. Don't settle- shop around, compare prices, read reviews.

Don't ask me about DIY, haha, I'm the WORST when it comes to crafty things.

Ahhh Thank you! you just made me feel better! After reading these boards I felt like I should have so much more done already....venue and date, CHECK (that's about it lol)
