I just mailed mine too but ya know what? As much as I am proud to be American, I still dont want America representng my wedding. The 60 cent stamps made me feel better!!! People actually told me they thought I made a mistake - the ones who got them on Saturday. Too funny!

Re: New $.39 stamps are available
Dang. Sent mine out last week, but my rsvp date is only a week after the new postage takes effect. It's a good excuse for me to call the stragglers... plus, the postal worker I talked to said there will probably be at least a week's grace period.

Re: New $.39 stamps are available
Your standard invitation with all the enclosures (directions, response cards, etc) will weigh more than 1 ounce, thus requiring more postage.
Therefore, most of us will need 63 cent stamps to put on the outgoing invitations. Some may need even more than that.

The pink and green dove stamps wont be released until March and the Snowflakes wont be released until October. Not sure about the other stamp with the birds on it. Pity. I couldnt use them if I wanted to. They wouldnt have helped me now. The USPS teases us

Oops! I didn't actually read all the stuff at the beginning of the page (obviously!) but the one with the blue birds will out in early Jan....here's the link. Why do they wait to release the wedding stamps in March? That's just silly!
