Well i dont knw if i spelled that right.. but anyway, i researched and spoke to family members that it was ok to throw our registry listing in with the invitation.... other people disagree. I need opinions b/c it was already done and my fiancee is flipping out b/c he is being told differently. Any advice?

Re: New Age Etiqutte
I think generally the registry info is put in the shower invites, and NOT in the main invites.

Re: New Age Etiqutte
all the wedding etiquette sites say this is a wedding No-No
I believe the reason is because it is seen as being presumptuous (as if the invite is contingent on a gift) the reason it is seen as ok to include with a shower invite, is because the purpose of a bridal shower is to essentially 'shower' the bride to be with well wishes and gifts to prepare her for married life.
I digress, if you have already included them then it is too late and there is no need to worry about something you cant change. Many people are CLUELESS about wedding etiquette so you prob really shouldn't even worry. Even if they DO care ....they can go kick rocks.
Dont fret my pet

Registry info is not to be included in the wedding invitation if proper etiquette is being followed. It is meant to be included in the shower invite. Good luck!

Re: New Age Etiqutte
registry is NOT to be included in the invitation only the shower invitation. Also be prepared that now you will probably get gifts from your registry instead of cash.

Re: New Age Etiqutte
Registry info should not be put in with the invite BUT some stores like Macy's will send announcements to your guests you have to send them the guest list.
