I just saw this and thought I'd share it. Lots of great tips....I don't know if everyone saw this but it's good info either way! I agree with most of it too!! Enjoy!
Thanks for the article. I agree with what the last person said, as long as the newly married couple is enjoying themselves then I have a good time.

Yeah, I'm not all that picky as a guest. In my plans I took more than a few of those issues into consideration tho! Ceremony/Reception timing for one. I thought the poor woman trapped for an hour b/c of the receiving line was interesting, esp after that I'm thinking we won't do a formal one at all!

Putting the guests of your bridal party at a different table is a big no-no..

Re: New article that should be shared...
I am going to have a receving line, but with just parents, BM and MOH (since they are family) and Bride and Groom.
There will be a space between church and hall, but I can't help it. I want to go take pictures.
I am having a Sunday night wedding. It is what I could afford.
Never ever put bridal partys guests at a different table, that is just wrong.

I recommend if you're getting married at the hall...do NOT do a receiving line...all it does is cut into your CH & Pic taking time. As soon as our ceremony ended...we were outta there! Took about 5 mins for just us.

Re: New article that should be shared...
i have to admit i've felt the same way about some weddings like that! like the no place to sit for CH. i hated that at a wedding i went to @ BCC. sometimes the time between ceremony and CH can be a little annoying. (biggest lapse i've went to was almost 5 hrs. between the two.) but hey, they gotta do pics, i understand!
also i agree that the photographer shouldn't 'run the show' and stop everything for like 30 min. to take pics.
hopefully no one will gripe about my wedding. lol but then again, no matter what happens, someone will just always complain.

The time between the church and hall is one that I understand that some couples have to do.
Sunday weddings and Friday weddings need to be done some couples too and I think that if you like the couple you either tough it out or take a day off!

i agree!! i'm having a sunday daytime wedding. i wanted to have an elegant wedding, and based on my budget, it was the only feasible option. some people think it's weird to have a wedding done by 5 p.m., and a few rude family members were like 'i have to go to your wedding in the day time?! that *****' but this is what i wanted, and i'm okay with it. if ppl don't want to come for that reason, oh well!

Re: New article that should be shared...
I like the very last one. My FH & I recently went to a wedding where the bride didn't stop smiling the whole time. He said he hopes I'm just as happy on our wedding day.
