New bride to be

Hi - I'm a new bride to be and need to get info on planning a wedding in Cancun - does anyone have any advice?

Wow! That sounds like so much fun! I don't have any information (though I'm sure someone on here does), but I know that there is a 'Destinations Wedding' board on The Knot that might be helpful. Best of luck!

Welcome again. I just wanted to say that planning a destination wedding might be easier if you hire a weddign planner in Cancun.
Someone here got married in Italy & had a planner there. I think there is soemone else that is not yet married that is also getting married in Italy. I'm not sure of other destination weddings.

Maybe start a destination weddings thread & see if any one responds?

I know there have been girls on here who have had destination weddings..i remember reading about them..we ALMOST had one..so I know its pretty easy, there are usually just a few stipulations, such as you have to be in the country a few days before the wedding date, you have to bring passport, birth certifcate, abunch of crap.etc. You can hire an officiant online and as for photographers...we had a professional one come to our resort in Mexcio and take honeymoon pictures...so maybe I can track down his name and you could give him a call. He had great packages at very reasonable prices.
