New Car

What is your opinion on getting a new car?

I am checking out the following:

Dodge Stratus
Chevy Malibu~has alot of problems with the brakes
Pontiac Grand Am
Nissan Sentra

I think the new Sentra is so cute!! (Unfortunately, I go for the looks of a car instead of how good it is )

I have a Pontiac Grand Am now and had a lot of problems with it.

I love foreign cars so I say Sentra.

I have never had problems with foreign cars,but with American always, but that's just me.

I guess my dad is the minority with a pontiac. He loves it. He never had any problems with his car (he has also had it for 5 years) Just now did the light on the clock start fading, but it just needed something to be replaced.

I like Nissans and Toyota's a lot though

for those priced cars I would say check out a
toyota corolla... those are suppose to be dependable cars...
saturns are suppose to have the lowest car insurance rate...

I drive a 2001 Nissan Sentra and I haven't had ONE problem with it... it's got great pick-up and all of the features of a higher priced car included, like power everything, sunroof, CD player, etc..... and it was under $20k. So Nissan gets my vote!!

I would say Sentra. I have a 92 Sentra, 150,000, still running great. No problems ever with the car. DH keeps saying we should get me a new car, but I love this car. I am having a hard time thinking of parting with it

I have a 2003 jeep liberty and love it. handles great, roomy, but not too big. affordable

nissan makes great cars and trucks! My sister has the sentra and I had a pathfinder and had no problems, loved it!

My hubby is a Pontiac dealer and I drive a Vibe, so I almost have to go with Pontiac for loyalty reasons, LOL. My old car was a Corolla and very dependable. My brother has a Nissan Sentra and has had no problems. Good Luck.

emdelon... i love my vw passat.... my parents almost bought the toyota camry(after going to most of the different car companies)... but then felt the VW feel and we had to get it...at the time it didnt cost much more than the jetta since they were clearing for the new 2001 1/2 line...

I'd say the Sentra - I've only heard great things about it . . . . But I'm also partial to foreign cars.
Have you checked out a Honda Civic? DH got a new one last year and we absolutely love it -
