My FH and I are planning to get married in Maine next July on a schooner. Is anyone out there planning a destination/New England wedding or a ceremony at sea (or boatside)?
I'd love to share thoughts/ideas.
Thanks everyone!!!

Re: New England Wedding Anyone?
The Stephen Taber is docked in Rockland (near Camden) and it's the first trip we ever took together. It is asking a lot of people to come all that way but we're hoping to make it worth the trip. The boat holds 45 for a day sail so we're having immediate family & friends only. We'll have a more casual party back home a few weeks later. We were thinking the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow.
Where are you getting married instead of NH?
Where in CT are you getting married? Is that where either of you are from or is it a destination?

My absolute dream wedding would be at the Inn on Peaks Island right outside of Portland, ME. I love Maine! I may actually be moving there next year. I'm sure your wedding will be absolutely beautiful!

I'm getting married at NJ shore. Long Beach Island. All my guest are traveling for the wedding. Be prepared that you will need to put a lot of thought in organizing everything. We are having tree day wedding. Friday - welcome party Saturday - wedding Sunday - after wedding brunch
Good luck!
