New Here!

Hey Girls!! I just got engaged today!! I wanted to introduce myself and hope you can all help me out, my FH and I are expecting our first child in July. We are looking to get married next October. We most likely will be paying for a majority of the wedding ourselves.

After having a child, Im sure we'll be strapped for cash, does anyone have any suggestions for a low key spot for a reception? My Future MIL got remarried at Pine Hollow Inn in Medford, I thought it was nice. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

The girls here are awesome.. its slow now but my morning they will be chatting it up... there are alot ALOT of ideas and projects on this site, in everyones albums, previous post etc etc... good luck with everything!

Thank you sooo much! I am sooo overwhelmed. I cant wait to have a wedding and be a mom. I just wish it would of happened a little differently but hey its the year 2008 right, LOL!

You could possibly look at the knight of columbus halls such as the Memorare club in Seaford. You can have just as nice of a reception there inexpensively.

I am still looking for a place but a lot of girls on here liked Westbury Manor and Fox Hollow. Good luck and welcome to the boards. It is such an addiction.
