Thanks everyone! We don't have anything picked out at all yet. I think we decided on a summer wedding, and thats about all so far! I just started to look into halls, but right now we live in Oregon so it is going to be tough to get home to visit them until we move in March!

OK, so we sat down and narrowed down our list! YAY!

Any advice on the following venues:

Old Field Club (our favorite so far from online photos)
George Washington Manor
H on the Harbor
Stewart Manor Country Club
The Metropolitan
The Bayview House at Captain Bills

I'd love to hear good and bad from anyone who has visited these places. We probably won't get back to LI til the summer to go visit.

Never got to GW Manor. I called last month and they said they didnt have 2012 prices yet. My friend got married at Stewart Manor.. it was nice.. just small. my prom was at the metropolitan and it was beautiful.
