New here!

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I am newly engaged (as of Saturday night actually lol). FH proposed on our four year anniversary at the top of the Empire State Building after a romantic dinner at Scarpetta in the Meatpacking District. I was referred to LIW by a few friends, as they found this site to be extremely informative but they never posted. We do not have a date yet, but we are thinking about a September 2012 wedding and are waiting until after the holidays to start planning. We just want to enjoy this time for as long as possible.

Congrats and welcome! Don't worry about not having a date or RH yet... just take some time to enjoy being newly engaged! The wedding planning will still be here, I promise

Definitely, we want to enjoy being engaged and figured we can start after the holidays. We already have a few places in mind that we want to look at (or that my mother wants us to look at ), so we'll start with that and go from there. It's crazy how many people asked us if we had a date set already. It hasn't even been 2 full days yet
