I recently got engaged and we are planning a very casual beach wedding for next September. We are looking at locations in Fire Island because that is where we met. Any have any suggestions for reception locations? We'd probably have about 60-75 people. We'd like the ceremony itself on the beach. :)

I have no clue about Fire Island but here's something i found Googling 'fire island wedding venues'..that is probably your best bet!

My family gets a house on fire island every summer. When I first got engaged I wanted to get married there as well. I thought it would be great to get married in the little church in Ocean Beach. I contacted McGuires and The Island Mermaid in Ocean Beach for the reception. They both got back to me but the prices are pretty steep. Around 150ish a person...depending on the day (only fri and sat's I think) and day or evening. I can see if I still have the contact emails. if not you can just google the restaurants and their emails on on the websites.
