New here - DIY centerpieces

Hi Everyone,
I'd like to say I am new to the site but the truth is that I have been a devout lurker for the past few months. Since I have taken so many ideas and advice from this site, I thought it was about time to post. My first question is for those of you doing your own centerpieces, especially the votives down the table, with flower petals. Who will set this up the day of your wedding and where are you getting the flower petals? Thanks so much!

We have a florist, but the BM at my hall told me if we were to do the CPs ourselves that they would assemble them however I wanted.

My centerpieces are also going to require assembly and the BM told me the same thing. I'll go in and show him how to do it a few days before.
