I am a new bride

I am getting married on 9-7-12 I can not wait but I got some bad news today that the guy I have been dealing with at the palce I am getting married left and I have to deal with someone else at least I have a year or so to get to know the new person!!!! Does anyone have any tips for me?? Thanks so much
