new here, need help!!!!

new here, need help!!!!

I've just joined this forum and I have lots of questions

My wedding is on October 8th, 2006 and I need some help on:
hair and make up
limo rental
tuxedos rental
flowers for bride, bridal party and church

I am in Brooklyn, so I'd preffer some vendors arround, but NYC is also ok...

So if you have some recomended names for these, plsss help

I've heard that June Florist in Brooklyn does beautiful work. I really can't help you with the other things...I haven't done them yet myself. But did you try NYCweddings.com also?

I am getting my hair and make-up done by a place called Helene Art of Makeup. Her place is in Brooklyn somewhere... but they are coming to me in Queens on the big day. If you want more info about them, go to www.heleneartofmakeup.com

Welcome! I'd definitely try the NYCityWeddings site- they have a lot more vendors listed in that area. But you can check the vendor listings for both sites- you'll find some great vendors here.

my friend got married this past September and she used Flowers by Emil for her wedding. They were amazing!

yes, check both sites....vendors will travel all over the island (usually) for the big day. we have vendors all over the place.

Congrats and happy planning!!! I can't help with the Brooklyn area, but I agree with the rest of the girls - try NYCWeddings for vendors and ideas in your area.

Welcome to the boards, try Jenn the Hair Genie, she is a vendor on here and lives in queens and she also works with Oksana for make up. they are both great!!!!
