New here...Have ?'s about the Somerley

Hi I am new here... my daughter is getting married in 2013 but I see on this board you have info on the Somerley at Fox Hollow. Can you tell me the usual guarentee and max on that room. Also do your guests have to walk thru the ballroom to get to the cocktail room or do they go in the cocktail room directly from the lobby? Thank you

I'm not sure what the minimum is for night time but they gave me a minimum of 75 for my afternoon wedding.

From what they told me, the Somerely has a seperate entrance from the Fox Hollow so if you have a smaller party like mine, you would walk through the sectioned off ballroom to the cocktail hour room which is called the lantin gallery. If its a bigger party, the cocktail hour party would be in the lantin gallery room and spill into the sectioned off ballroom.

I believe the minimum for an evening wedding is 125

Our minimum is 100 but we booked last year in September, before the room was complete. Now that the room is done, I think the min has changed and so has the price pp.

Edited: We are getting married on a Friday night.

i booked the somerley for may 2012 the minimum is 140 max is i believe 180....it has a seperate enterance bathroom lobby and bridal suite....youll never see the other wedding party,,,the room is gorgeous!!! i cant wait
