New Hyde Park Question

Can Anyone tell me who's gettin married at The Inn in New Hyde Park , the night of your wedding.. do they have any other event goin on? I know the restaurant is open.. but wanted to make sure that was it. and do the people at the restaurant walk in the same doors as your guests do? thanks!:)

I am pretty sure they can have another party. Just not another wedding.

There is a separate entrance for the restaurant.

the INN is creating a whole separate entrance to keep wedding guests completely separate from restaurant guests.

I don't know how recently you have been there, but here is what Frank told me...

When you walk in the door from the driveway there will be a spiral staircase leading up to the new CH room. the first entrance room (there are like 3) will have a high skylight ceiling.

then after the CH guests will go down a back staircase to the ballroom.

so the actual front door will be shared with the rest of the facility, but i believe that the wedding guests will immediately be whisked away up the grand spiral staircase.

well they didnt really tell me anything else would be goin on there.. they said I can use the room next to the ballroom cause no one will be using it.. do they have other events at the same time as the wedding? cause that could be a problem.. thx

I mean they say 'one event at a time' not one wedding so I think they could do other events. I would call whoever you talked to. maybe they canged their policy or maybe I misunderstood.

hey guys,

i feel so much better now, lol. I called the new hyde park and they told me that they will have seperate bathroom. it will be roped off. its in a seperate wing. i feel more comfortable.. they are very accommodating! thanks for everyones help.. :)

im getting married there and they def only do one wedding at a time and i don't think they can have another event in th other room b/c i know that it will be open for my guests to sit down during CH if i do the cocktail hour outside.... and the restaurant is not in close proximity to where your wedding takes place and there is another entrance to the restaurant besides the main one
