New Member, 1st Post, Chateau Briand Normandy Room

Hello All!

My name is Gizelle and I finally registered on LIW after using it as a reference for my July 2010 wedding countless times!

I love how supportive and helpful everyone is to one another on this site. It is def appreciated during such a fun, excting, and not to mention somewhat stressful time of our lives.

But I have a question if anyone would like to help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

I am almost certain that my FH and I want to book at Chateau Briand. We love the outside and want a Miami feel for our wedding. We will have anywhere from 150-175 guests and are looking to book in the Normandy room. I was wondering how people felt the size of the room was for a party of that size? I know that the sales manager said it fits over 200 but I want to hear from you guys. Also how does the dance floor suffice for that many people? My family is full of partiers and will most likely spend the whole night out there.

Our RH is Chateau Briand and we will be in the Normandy room and we will have about the same amount of guest you will have 150-180 and I think is perfect. Is a good size for that amount of people. And the dance floor is good as well, So dont worry Enjoy the wedding planning.

That is where we are booked and that is also the room that we are using, our minimum is 150, i don't think you will have a problem with the amount of people you are saying

Welcome to the boards and congratulations on your engagement... the place is beautiful and should fit your size group comfortably. My friend is telling me this as I type since her sister was married there and had that room.
