New member of my family (I hope!)

My inlaws have a sweet, wonderful Jack Russel named Buddy. They are hardly ever home, so he is usually chained up in the backyard or crated in the house. I have always felt SO sorry for him, and I always beg Patrick to bring him home with us.

WELL... I think my wish is coming true!
On Friday Patrick is bringing him home for a trial visit to see if keeping him will work out!!!
Pat HATES pet hair on furniture and clothing, so I'm bringing Buddy to be shaved on Saturday morning. As long as he and Arnold get a long, I get to keep him!!!

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats. Jack's are really smart. Do you have a lot of property? They like to run. I used to know a bunch of them at the horse farm where I used to ride. They seem to like horses a lot too.

We really don't have a lot of property (just 1/4 acre), but hopefully he'll run in circles and get enough exercise!

Arnie is a bit of a snob... he picks and chooses which dogs he'll get along with.
I'm hoping he and Buddy will hit it off!

I'mm definitely post a picture of the Naked Jack Russel!!!

Yes, he jumps VERY high. We have a 6 foot fence, and I'm worried!

My inlaws keep him on a 50 foot runner because he jumps their (4 foot) fence all the time.

I'm leaving to go out in a few minutes, but tonight or tomorrow I'll post pictures of Buddy as a puppy. Jacks are the CUTEST puppies!!

congrats Jenn!! JRs are very HM...but we got to a dog park and their are a few of them...very nice with children and other dogs...one little one licks my dog...I think shes in love
