well during my sisters bridal shower my roomate decided we all go get tattoos...they all got small tattoos a little bigger than a quarter and picked them from some stock art. I knew i didn't wanna rush into my first tattoo getting the cheapest thing I could find and regret it later...so i let them all get theirs while i searched online for something i would like. I found it and set up my appt for a different day.

I wanted my tattoo to be something graceful that I could be proud of 40 years from now.

I love the geisha and how the focus is not on her face but how she's admiring the cherry blossoms. I kinda feel a connection to the art because I'm at a point in my life where I feel I need to step back and admire whats going on...like with the wedding and how we've got this house and I came from being at rock bottom to being the happiest I've ever been. I kinda feel like the geisha symbolises that coz they lead a difficult lifestyle to become these graceful well rounded ladies. but she still is admiring the beauty in nature.
