we went to new orleans for my sisters bach party and had an absolute blast- at first i had debated not going but it was so much fun - i would have hated myself if i didnt go. I will remember that trip for the rest of my life and as much as I always say I want to go back there - who knows if I'll ever get back. Everything will get done for your wedding and you will have an awesome time in 'n'awlins' - don't feel guilty - you made the right decision if you ask me!

I def wouldnt think that you are selfish to be spending time with one of your MOH celebrating the end of singlehood. Its kinda of celebrating the closing of one chapter in your life and the opening of another. I say go for it, because you deserve it, especially with all the stress I am sure you had during the planning process and dont you feel one bit guilty. Think of it as your reward for all the hard work you did.

Actually, 6 weeks before the wedding is not really a bad time to go, IMO. All the big stuff is taken care of and that is around the time you have to start doing all the final details. I think the last 2-3 weeks before the wedding is when I was busiest. 6 weeks before really wasn't too bad. So, if you are going to do one last trip, that might be a good time to do it.

I say go and have some guilt-free fun, but if you really don't want to go, I'd be happy to experience the guilt and go in your place.

I booked my cousin's bachelorette party in New Orleans, which is approx. 2 weeks before her wedding. Since we booked it now, she knows how to plan out fittings, and other appts. Plus, we thought it may be good right before the wedding to give her a break and just have fun and relax. I've had friends that have gone and highly recommended it, saying it was an absolute blast

you guys are going to have so much fun - its like no place i've been to before. they charge like nothing for drinks b/c they want you to have a crazy time. I really can't wait to get back there again! Im so jealous!
