Her mother who regifts BADLY.... like when I gave her a little snowman one year for christmas and the next year I went to my SIL and sitting under the tree was the little snowman. I was like 'did grandma give that to you' Ya why' 'Cause I gave it to her last year' LOL.... Then Every year for christmas I get a pocketbook that was hers. Ok its one thing to regift but dont give me something thats ures and used. One year I got a pocketbook I know it was hers. Then this past year I got This Pocketbook which is the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. It was Gold and Bronze Quilted (like the 80's pocketbook) and it had a gold chain with Black leather going through. I opened it up and it had all rips in the lining. I honestly would rather get nothing then that. Cause then I feel like Sh!t.
I gave it to my friend for her birthday im gonna ask her to bring it out tonight so I can take a picture of it.

So far it is a wooden salad bowl with legs and multicolored plastic salt and pepper shakers - both from my grandmother.

Granted, i love pacman and brad loves nintendo, but geez..

My ex-boss gave me a tablet of grocery checklists one year.
Yup....a tablet with pictures of food that you can circle when you need to buy more and take with you to the supermarket.
I filed that under the last-minute Christmas shopping gone awry list.
My boss after him got me Tiffany's Christmas Ornaments. I like him much better!!

AS A joke. She almost peed herself on christmas when she saw it. And she almost peed when she opened it on her birthday. She plans on giving it to her sister for christmas. I am sure I will get it back from her sister for something. She also got a FM transmitter and a car charger for her birthday for her IPOD from us. That was her real present.

We got a bagel bowl. Its a ceramic bowl with a big ceramic bagel on it. First off- we live in Manhattan. We have no room for a serving platter of only one type of food. Second of all, we really aren't big bagel servers. Most of the people we know are watching their carbs. Third, its got a giant ceramic bagel on it!

honestly...anything my real mother gets me....she doesn't 'know' me very well and refuses to get me a gift card that I ASK FOR because she thinks it's impersonal....so I get stuck with sox I'll never wear or calendars of animals I liked when I was 13

My Great Aunt got us a bowl filled with fake plastic fruit for our e-party. It was so funny that I actually have it on my kitchen table, people are always asking where that came from. lol!

A decorated box!
Dh also once got me a cellphone holder that had a calendar and phone book attached to it and that was BEFORE I even had a cellphone. I think about 3 years later I finally got one
Oh and my MIL always gets me nightgowns that are floor length flannel and look like something my Grandmother would wear! Guess she doesn't want anymore Grandchildren since she has 10 already!

My grandmother, bless her soul, buys me these sweaters that I nor she would never wear in a million years. They are the ones with beads and sequins on themor big christmas trees or turkeys. Just way tacky for me.

I have another one From That thread. From MY MIL for my shower. This one might be better then the pocketbook.
For my shower she knows I 'like' purple so she bought me everything purple from the 1.00 store. Like EVERYTHING SHE SAW including a 'leash' you put ure children on even if I had children I wouldn't use it. Mike said Mom do u know what this is and she said 'no but it's purple' THANK YOU JUST SHOWED EVERYONE HOW DUMB U ARE AND NOW THEY BELIEVE ME
