So out of all the jobs that I have taken on through this wedding process I was really not thinking I would try and become..The weather man! I actually need to go take a walk because I am driving myself nuts researching every single weather website/channel!

Lol! The craziest part is that no matter how much research you do, you're not going to be able to change the weather to what you want it to be!
It'll be perfect -- your day -- no matter the weather!!! Just enjoy the last week of planning!!
But a walk does sound like a good idea, just to clear your head.

You cant control the weather so I would just stop looking......I started to look before my wedding and it was all rain. And it did rain the day of my wedding but literally cleared as we went to the church. You never know what can happen......
you dont need to drive yourself crazy cause there are other things that will do that for you

The weather is the one thing you cant control. Dont make yourself crazy over it, even though I know I wont be able to take my own advice when my wedding month rolls around

It's really hard to get in that field, if you search their bio, a lot of the reporters have extensive degrees in journalism as well as internships & GPA. For weatherman, they def have their master's/PHD in meteorology as well as impressive internships or jobs held that relates to their field (ex. editorial asst for newspaper, anchor fill-in, etc.) Without those qualifications, unless you know someone from a news station that can give you a hook, it's going to be extremely tough to get into that field. Not I'm discouraging you from trying, if that's what your heart is set on, go for it! Just giving you a heads up on what to expect. I've done some research in college about this field and I was just blown away by all of the requirements/bkgd work. I've looked through NY1 and that channel has a better chance of taking in interns as well as production assistant openings than any other broadcast channels. I wish you the best of luck and success with this field!

I can totally relate!!!! I did the EXACT same thing! I would tell you not to waste your time but I know you will still check anyway because that's what I did!
I will say this though.. Up until 2 days before my wedding the forecast called for rain no matter what website I went to.. Luckily, we wound up having the most perfect day! So although I know I stressed out about the weather, try not to get too worked up if the forecast is not so great... It can completely change from one day to the next!
