Hi ladies, I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this...my rsvps are due by may 26th. I know the stamp change goes into affect may 14th. What happens to the rsvps that people put in th mail between the 14th and the 26th? Is there a grace period so they can get delivered to me? Will they get returned to sender? What if people don't put their own return address labels on them? do you think they will get lost? will people know to put the extra 2 cent stamp on? Sorry for the semi-rant, but I just realized this today and I started to panic because sooooooo many people have yet to respond! TIA

Re: New stamps and rsvps
From what I heard, any mail that it drop in a post office mailbox after 12:01 on May 14th will only be delivered if there is the proper new postage. Hopefully your guest are aware of the postage change and use a return address. Without a return address, my guest is that you probably won't get them. I would call the PO and double check.

I heard there was a one month grace period... but maybe that is just a rumor?

Re: New stamps and rsvps
I asked the Post Office...they said there will be a grace period.
Also, if your RSVP's only have your address on them, most likely they will be delivered with no probs!!

Re: New stamps and rsvps
Thanks so much everyone! Hopefully everyone will notice the stamp change and if not, the grace period will help out. I figure everyone ends up having to call some people that haven't rsvp'd anyway.
