Has anyone gone to the new Tanger Outlet in Deer Park? Anything good there in the way of stores?? FH & I were thinking about going there to check it out since I need to find shoes for when I order my dress anyway, I was just wondering if it was worth the trip so to speak.

I haven't but I heard it was really open and nice...there are less stores than the Tanger in Riverhead though. Maybe check them out on the web first before you make the trip.

I live in Deer Park and I have been there. The layout is gorgeous! However, as far as finding outlet deals... not really. I went into bath & body and it was a normal store. It is high end. IMO, no great bargains. It is significantly smaller than tanger in riverhead. More than half of the stores are empty... not even rented out. As of now there is only one place to eat... chipotle. The movie theater is absolutely gorgeous!!! I would go just for that!!! Plus the christmas tree shops are really cool!!!
But check it out for yourself!!

I agree with previous poster. There are a lot of shops, but there weren't really any big bargains. I got a sweater from the Gap that was on sale, but that's all I could find. I was so excited to go because I love Banana Republic outlet store, but I was so disappointed in the styles. I usually spend soooo much money in there, but I walked out with nothing :( I really wanted to go into that Christmas Tree shop but I was pressed for time. Next time I go, I am def. stopping in there!!!

there are some good stores, but i feel like a lot of stores arent open yet. i really enjoy the banana republic store though. it has good deals.( but thats the only store i bought stuff from) but the outlets themselves are really nice

There were really good prices in the Neiman Marcus store and the 'off the rack' Saks 5th Ave store.
If you are looking for shoes, they have great deals!

My mom went and said it was 'OKAY'. There are some stores that are open but there are still a lot that have to be opened.

Just went to new outlets in Deer Park tody. Nice layout, but many stores still not open.
Try Shoebuy.com for shoes. They have free shipping and free return shipping if you are not happy, and they also are cheaper than the stores. Good Luck...
