I take the LIRR Ronkonkoma line so I pass it every day. I've been watching the progress over the past few months. It looks really nice. I am probably going to go this weekend. I just hope it doesn't make traffic too crazy.

Don't bother ladies!! Its a MAD HOUSE!!
I work across the street, sat on Commack road for 40 minutes to get 1 mile!
Its nuts! Not all the stores are open and I promise its not worth the aggreviation yet! Everything will be open in a few weeks and by then the pandamonium will have died down!

The only store I'd weant to go to is Coach, and since it's not there, I'd much rather take the drive out east than lovely downtown Deer Park.
The skating rink sounds intruiging though...

we went last night.. it was open to deer park residents only...
it is beautiful.. the buildings are gorgeous..
christmas tree shop is awesome!!!!
but have to tell you ... there were many stores not open.. like not even sold.. empty stores
today.. there were police directing the traffic...
it is definately a mad house!!
the theather is imax and it looks great..
there is no food court... yet at least...
and there weren't an crazy sales
but definatley check it out,,,t hey are really nice!!

Saks Off 5th opened today! But it is true that a lot of other stores are nowhere near opened yet! But it does look nice though.

I work in Riverhead, we were told no new Coach. At $60/sq ft, it is not surprising. You have to do, like, $500k minimum to break even.

The Deer Park ones are nicer...and have better restaraunts...but Riverhead has more stores (except for the Christmas Tree Shops!)
