New to Board and Dress Question!

New to Board and Dress Question!

I just posted below but I thought I may as well ask this now while it is slow at work today!

I am paying for the wedding myself so I want to keep the cost of the dress under $1500. I live in Queens so I can go anywhere in NYC or LI. Where is a good place to look that will still treat me nicely but that will appreciate my budget? I made an appointment at the Wedding Atelier in NYC for about three weeks from now, but I know they have very few dresses under $1500.

Have you looked at any designers?

Personally I really like Maggie Sottero so I am going to Helen's in Commack. I think it's worth checking out and the dresses are in your price range. Also don't forget to factor in, under garments, jewelry, veil, shoes etc. It adds up and you are probably looking at another $500-$1,000 with all of those things. Food for thought ...

I went to Fantasia last week and they were great. I also like Maggie Sottero, but I don't like how they all lace in the back.
