New to Chat Board

Hello!

I am new to the board and have not done any planning for my May 3, 2003 afternoon wedding. I am an out-of-town bride from Washington, D.C. and I am only planning to make one or two trips to NY to plan the wedding. I am not from the LI area, my fiance is originally from Manhattan, however, his elderly parents are not available to help us with many wedding plans.

Thus far, I have only booked a location and my fiance's childhood minister. I am getting married at Floral Terrace. I need to book all of my vendors(Photographer, DJ, Videographer, Hotel, Rehearsal Dinner Location, and Ceremony music) asap. I am looking for any reasonably cost vendors -- so if any one has any recommendations who might still be available please let me know.

Hi!! Welcome and Congrats on your engagement I'm also getting married at Floral Terrace. It's such a BEAUTIFUL place!

As far as vendors, besides the reception hall and church, we booked Patken for photos and video.
Here are a few other video and photo places you can check out (if you call them and tell them that you're planning from DC I'm sure they'll send you a price list):
