New to LI weddings

Hello ladies! I'm new to the site, just wanted to drop a little hello and congrats to everyone getting married in 2010! It can't come soon enough!!!!

Well actually.. the real proposal hasn't come yet LOL. We're HUGE Disney fans and we have a trip planned for this October...thats when I get my ring and I can't wait!!!!!! I'm going to be a teacher so of course we needed a summer wedding, we both knew it was going to happen and a friend of the family works in the catering business so we had inside info to book for July asap. so we did lol. I know its not the normal way of doing things but hey, we knew what we wanted so why risk not getting it?!?

I'm from LI how about you guys??

i have the medium room, the normandy room-its the one that the bride and groom make the entrance through the floor

We are huge Disney fans too. We got engaged at Artist Point in December. We are going to Disney in Oct too. When are you going? We are going Oct 3 thru 11. We are DVC members.

we are heading there for the same things!!!! We bought Saratoga Springs in 2006. We stayed in Animal Kingdom villas on our trip in December. This is our 3rd MNSSHP and 3rd Food and Wine. Last year we did a very short trip in Oct. I think we flew out on a friday and came back on sunday. Weekends were soooooo crowded for Food and Wine. You could barely walk through epcot. But we had a great time at MNSSHP. Do you dress up for it? We did the first year but not last year.
