new to long island... need limo, dj, photog, florist suggestions... please?

im new to long island, and getting married in august... i have no experience with vendors out here, and no contacts...

im getting married at the fox hollow, and i know they have their preferred vendors, but can anyone suggest

1. a resonable limo service
2. your favorite dj
3. a non-typical (more editorial type) photographer
4. favorite florist

I don't have a limo service yet and I'm not using a florist, but I do have a DJ and photographer that I can recommend.

Dream DJ Entertainment; extremely reasonable and VERY nice to work with

I love Michelle from Hidden Essence for flowers! She was so willing to work with our budget, and still make my vision work!!

I'm using Complete Wedding Packages in East Meadow for photo/video/dj. They offered us a great package and Amanda (one of the owners and our photographer) was awesome!

We aren't doing limos, sorry I can't help you there.

1. a resonable limo service: Camelot in Farmingdale

2. your favorite dj: Bravura hands-down! you can go to their website bravuraweddings.com and listen to their mixing skills

3. a non-typical (more editorial type) photographer: I booked with Proline in Franklin Square and loved their photo style when they showed me their work

4. favorite florist: Distinctive Floral Design- originally in Mineola, but just moved to a larger location in Glendale, Queens

I really recommend Camelot for limos. Reasonable prices and great service.

Hey there fellow Fox Hollow Bride! Congrats!

We went with After Hours Entertainment as our DJ/MC.

And I highly suggest checking our Angel Project Photography. I want editorial and artsy pics, as well, and thats really what TJ specializes in .

No limo - the Fox Hollow hotel is right next door

1- limos we have not done ourselves yet.
2- our DJ is Bravura Entertainment. We have a DJ/band convo. They are amazing!!
3- our photographer is North Island Photography
4 - our florist is Black Dahlia.

Limos- Camelot was definitely the most affordable
DJ- After Hours!
Florist- Dalsimer
Photographer/Videographer- Silverfox (My favorite vendor so far!!)

we're not using limos, but i highly recommend after hours for DJ ... phil is great and will work with your budget. we are using laura pennace (pennace photography) for our photos - amazing work. for florist, we booked black dahlia on the spot - sonja is awesome and their price was right!

Camelot def for limo! Very reasonable prices and a great selection of cars, from antique classic, to your more modern limos. We went to some places that had the same or slightly lower rates, but didn't have the classic cars we wanted.

Tommy's Tunes for DJ, Dominick was our one man DJ/MC
Dan Wagner for photography
Hidden Essence for flowers
