NEW to this - gown

Hi, just joined this and clueless!

Any tips for good bridal salons in the Rockland/Westchester area? I am on a budget.....

meme's in larchmont has a big selection but without an appt, they dont even wanna know you... that was a huge turnoff for me...

bridal shop in mamaroneck had terrible customer service... basically if you want them to throw you in a room with gowns and you take em on n off yourself, then this is the place for you.... if you need to be clipped, good freakin luck.... my mom had to do it

sry, i can only tell you of places NOT to go... westchester wasnt good for me...

Not a clue...

What was so bad about the Bridal Shop in Mamaroneck? I was kind of excited to go to that one

They are really nice there and all of the prices for gowns include ALL alterations. They have an OK selection but are SO much nicer than some of the places in the area.

The staff at Meme's was also really good and they have a nice selection of gowns.

My friend just bought her gown there two months ago and she had a really good experience. She also saved a lot of $$$ on her gown.

if you dont mind sh*tty service... where you have to literally take the gowns in bags in the fitting room with you, unzip the gowns out of there.... and put the dress on yourself, and clip yourself into it, and then take the dress back out and put it back in the bag... then this is the place for you...

they apparently do tons of business over the phone bc thats the only area i saw where there was service... oh yea and not to mention that their important papers were literally scattered under a desk right in front of the store... makes you wonder how many orders they screw up on....

i wanted to walk out within the first 5 mins... they ddi absolutely nothing for me... i wouldnt tell my worst enemy to go there...
