New Topic for the Night

To get the boards going i thought i would try and bring up a topic that could get some converstaion going...

As married woman/man (or soon-to-be married or were a soon-to-be married) person......what was the biggest issue that you had to deal with when you got into a serious relationship with that person. Datiing is one thing...BUT what was that one thing that you never expected being in a serious relationship with a person.......

I'll go first.....for one thing the cleaning thing....He drives me crazy with throwing things around the house (i hate clutter), for him if its after i cook i leave the little piece of food on the stovetop...i don't get it at time....

However, before we moved in together i never thought about this.......so its interesting to me to see what people go through with DH...what drives you crazy about DH? or FH...or FH or FW.....its so intersting to see what people say bothers them...and then what there DH gets annoyed o ut...only things you realize after you live together....

Let's see where do I start. I hate when he leaves empty containers in the fridge and doesn't take it out.
The usual with the toilet seat.
And he is just messy. I also wished he could cook for me but he tryes.
That's pretty much it.

i have to say it is the cleaning thing for me too!

I thought it would be money issues....but that surprisingly hasn't been an issue at all

Breaking him of his 'This is how my Mom does it ' habits. Usually has to do with cleaning......and what he puts in the fridge....and eating everything in sight(see Newlywed Board for that doozy of a thread)!

Oh, perfect timing for this one! MY FH just walked in the door soooo angry that he had noplace to park in front of our apartment (this happens kinda often.) But I can never get cranky! I'm going to visit my sister for the weekend in Massachusetts & won't see him again until Sunday and now I can't even talk to him because of his ugly mood. And we have important wedding stuff to discuss! Sorry to vent and this probably had nothing to do with the topic, but it helped to get that out!

I can honestly say I have no complaints!!
