LIWeddings, your calculations don't make sense.

If 1% of users post on Chit Chat boards, then you would have on average 130 posters out of the 13,000 registered users...

Often, I see close to 200 users on chit chat...

So either its more than 1% posting or there are more than 13,000 users

The number on the bottom havr nothing to do with this. The number on the bottom just shows how many people are logged into the boards!

alina - 13,000 on average vist the site daily. I said 1% of TOTAL users use the boards. Some are on the boards but do not use them. They don't have a profile!

I understand that not all users visit the boards. But if currently there is 158 users, then 100% of this would be 15,800 total users... But you say avg. daily traffic is 13,000. So then 2,800 users have a login id but don't visit the site at all, even the boards...

I am now more confused.

alina - this is not up to the minute who's on verse how many per day. It's a daily average. At 4 in the morning there are 10 people on the site. That becomes part of the average. Get it?

Got ya, so then if there is a way for me to calculate the average daily users of the boards, I will be able to get the total users working from the 1% assumption? I must log on once an hour now to check!!!

alina - sorry but you are so off course!
All I want are NEW NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE MARCH 2003 people. Again, this has zero to do with the boards or the number below that shows how many are on the boards at that moment. Second hint. The number will have a comma in it.
