New Venture

Hey Everyone - so I want to start my own special events company - I have lots of ideas but not sure how to launch it.
Any ideas?

Thanks :)

1. Go to the Riverhead Court and apply for a business licence.

2. Get an insurance policy.

3. Join the Ises ( International Special Event Society).

4. Contact a lawyer and have an event contract drawn up

5. Set prices for services.

6. Create a website & business cards. Include any feedback from past customers!

7. Join social networking groups. PROMOTE!

8. Establish good relationships with vendors. Ex: Catering Halls, Catering companies, florists, photographers, graphic designers, lighting designers

That should keep you busy for a while!
Good Luck!

Congrats, best of luck!!
