I called the post office today and got the update. That is horrible!

I don't understand USPS. Shouldn't they have planned these in advance and have them ready for all the spring/summer weddings that occur. What did they think that there weren't going to be any weddings during May 2007-August 2007????? Bad planning on their part. If there were other places to send mail through I bet the marketing department would have thought of it in a minute.

joyce, i just got the 'forever' stamps. i think the meaning fits well with weddings, right? it's like you and FH 'forever'!!

Those only count for First class mail. Most invitations are not considered first class mail because of the weight and/or size.

what?!?! the 29th?!?! i blocked out my entire wednesday the 27th so i could run over, get stamps and stuff envelopes and mail them out by the end of the day! grrr....i feel like we already waited why not wait two more days but still that is so annoying! i hate the post office! someone suggested the star wars stamps to me too and i was like 'are you serious?!' they are so big too!
