New Wynhdam Hotel in Islip?
My mom saw postings for jobs for a new hotel in Islip called the Wyndham Bayberry. They post the jobs online and some have been filled.
Well we were interested not because we want jobs there but because it is close to home and would be perfect for our wedding guests next year.
The problem is that nobody has heard of this hotel and I have called 8 different departments at Wyndham Hotels corporate offices and nobody knows about it.
The jobs are listed with the Islip zip code and the job postings are recent.
Wouldn't you think the corporate offices (sales, development, guest services, hospitality and others) would know of the hotel opening? How can they be hiring housekeeping staff if they haven't built it yet?
There is no information on the job postings except to email a resume through their system (I'm thinking of just creating a document asking to book rooms if they are open next year and sending it through the resume gathering system.
Just wondering if anyone had info (I am going to really laugh if any of you have it and their corporate offices do not!)
