Do you guys know that many of the reception halls that many of us are getting married in are throwing New Year's Parties? I just got a card from the Swan Club (where I'm getting married) about their NYE party, and also while I drove by Chateau Briand today I saw their big sign advertising theirs. What's everyone doing for NYE? Is anyone going to any reception halls to check out their bashes?

Hmmn, as of yet we don't have plans, but I would love to do this! I know Capitale in NY is having a huge party... But I think we may stay home & have a soiree, or go to a friends where Petey can come too, We hate leaving the( four- legged) baby home, especially on holidays

Re: New Year's Eve
i think we are trying to convince my MOH to have a party in her new home. . . we never really go OUT out for NYE - i would much rather prefer going to someone's house. . .and i can't imagine NYE without my puppy either, lol
she lives in Massapequa park and we are from Queens so we will probably just crash there as usual - hey if not too many people are going i may just go there in my PJs lol

Re: New Year's Eve
yea I've learned from past mistakes to do something low key and in my own home, no driving and as much drinking as I want, woo hoo

Re: New Year's Eve
CLM has a xmass day dinner and a new years bash one party in each room and you can mix it up and go into different rooms.
I don't live so far away so walking can be a option or a cheap cab ride but i doubt i will go. Money is so tight now so probably stay at home with my parents and we are babysitting my neice and nephew who are five. FH hopefully will go with his plan otherwise I sense i will be torn to go to his sisters house .
