So, I think that a bunch of us might be going to the JT for New years.. for $115 you get dinner, drinks and dancing. i thought it might be fun so see a party go on there... anyone else thinking about it? anyone else plan anything yet?
It's also my bday, so the thought of getting all dressed up that day is kind of exciting!!

I'm going to mention JT NYE to FH later. He wants to go to the party at the GC hotel. I realllyyyyyyyyyyyyy dont want to go there. But his cousins are going and since they are the only people around this year, he figured why not. But its costing us $400 a couple, which to me is obsurd..

I went out in the city once and swore I would never do it again. I paid $175 for a 'VIP' bracelet to let me drink free til 4 am and the bar was so packed that I only had 4 drinks all night, so I was frustrated. Usually about 15 of us go skiing in vermont, get a house, and party there, but everyone is so poor this year. I just thought it'd be something different.
And yes, I am a new years eve baby!!! It was always the worse bday ever until I met FH, he always makes it special for me!!

we were looking into doing something like that for NYE. last year we had such a boring time at his brother's house, so we want to do something different. the good thing is that JT is three blocks away from us, so we could both drink all night and not have to drive. must mention this to FH!

oh god yeah the clubs in the city for NYE are SOOOO ridiculous, such a rip off so i refuse to go. Last year we did go to the city but not to a club, this restaurant and lounge are owned by the same person so they had a package to eat at the restaurant first and then after to dinner and all for such a good price which also included drinks...not club like at all the place either.
Oooo i like the going away idea, i wanted to do this last year, a bunch of us to go to FH's house in the poconos for the weekend but it didnt work out, maybe ill suggest it again this year.
Awwww true, it probably does take away a bit, sorry but YAY to FH for being so great

it's the cheapest way. We got a house last year and is was $50 pp for 4 nights and the skiing was $60 a day. All the girls cooked, so we had homemade food every night and we played flip cup and beer pong all night... it was the cheapest way to go, but the way the holiday fall this year, we'd have to spend too many days there and it's costing more money.
Definitely try to do the skiing thing!! Especially since he OWNS the house!!! lol

LOL yeah thats what i was saying, it would be free to stay and then food and all that wouldn't come out to much, and then those who want to ski can go bc its close by. Let me see if i can make it work t his year lol
