New Years Eve!!!! Come hang out!!!!

My friends and I are trying to rent out an NYC bar...

The bar (most likely Metro 53) would have a DJ (one upstairs and one downstairs) and the price would be $90 a person which would include food (buffet and apps) and drinks (anything but shots) from 9pm - 2am….

We spoke to a few bars and they mentioned that we would have to do this soon because most bars set up New Years Eve Specials to the public around Mid-November…and since we are putting our names down we would sell the tickets soon so that by early December we could get a better grip on the number of people so that if this is a bust we can cancel if need be…

however i try to stay out of the city on NYE and fh would prob kill someone if we were in or around the city on NYE

can i tell you that last year FH and I went into the city and hit NO traffic at all and first we had to go to a friends house on 55th between 10th and 11th ave...we knew not to take the 59th street bridge or midtown tunnel bc we'd have to pass where all the traffic was...so we took the triborough and got off on the higher streets, the 96 street exit and we seriously flew right by without a problem...we then had to go downtown and again no problems, we took cabs this time...it was so weird bc i was preparing myself for the idiot parade we were gonna deal with and it was one of the easiest nights driving in the city...if you just know which ways to avoid you'll be fine

honestly i prefer driving into the city too...yeah you definitely have to come up with a good plan first if anyone plans on going to the city NYE.

I am trying to plan a party but dont know how we would do this hahahahhaha
