Our anniversary is on NYEve and looking for things to do. What is everyone doing for the new year? I was trying to find hotel deals in the city but everything seems so expensive. any suggestions?
If we don't end up at the Two Dog Lodge in Vermont, we will most likely be home and DH will certainly be asleep before the ball drops!
I thought you had three dogs!

going to Dh's aunt and eat like a pig and then go home and if the kiddies do not fall alseep watch the ball drop, but either way let them camp out in the livingroom. And we all cuddle under a warm blanket

catering halls on LI throw parties. I went to the Westbury Manor last year and had a blast. I also know that the Holiday Inn on Old Country Rd. (next to the CB) does a party. I went one year to that and had a great time. But if you're looking to go to one of these places you may want to book soon. A lot of them fill up quickly.

Re: new years eve plans
right now...nothing. Now that I can drink, I might get drunk but DH has to work the next day. Poopers.....
I'll probably make a nice dinner and maybe we'll get tipsy and watch stupid movies to make us laugh.
I think our 'friends' are mad at us...they haven't returned our calls....no loss.

Corinne, I think Eastwind has a New Year's party. JT's working, so I am going to Cape Cod to hang out with one of my BMs.

I'm probably going to stay home - eat a lot of junk food - then probably fall asleep on the couch before the ball drops.
