New Years Eve Wedding

Has anyone been to or had a New Years Eve wedding? We have been thinking about choosing this date. Guests would have some time to unwind after the wedding since most guests have off on New Years

Those of you who have been to NYE weddings, were they nice/special. If you had or are planning one, are venders more expensive?

New Years Eve Wedding - Long Island Weddings

I have! Alot of fun!!!! My friend said that most vendors did charge more being that it was a holiday. Everyone had a great time!

New Years Eve Wedding - Long Island Weddings

I haven't been to one but I wanted to have one and I wish I could go to one! I love the idea of having a big party to go to and not have to worry about making my own plans (selfish, I know lol). I didn't look into it too much but I imagine it'd be pretty expensive especially since a lot of reception venues try to have their own parties on NYE.

I have and I loved it!!! It was so much fun :) I think that is an amazing idea, but you'd probably have to book something soon since it's a holiday

Yes! I got married 12.31.12!! Best decision ever!! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Originally, I was discouraged from picking NYE as our date because I was quoted a ridiculous per plate cost at one venue but in the end we booked all our dream vendors and the cost was not significantly more!
