that sounds like alot of fun. I wanted for a bunch of us to go to FI's house in the poconos for the whole weekend. Go skiing, go shopping, out to eat and then have a little party NYE, but no alot of people can't make it for certain reasons...so instead we'll do that another weekend.
BUt Fi and I and a bunch of his friends are going to this place called luca lounge in the city...It has dinner and open bar, more of a lounge/restaurant type place rather than a big club thing, at least it better be bc i don't want to deal with a club in the city on NYE

Re: New Years Plans
I think we might go out to dinner and then get some drinks and hors d'overes (sp?) and just call it a night at home!
Last year we went to a party and got into a huge fight and I would rather not start the year off on a bad foot!

Re: New Years Plans
We are going to visit my FI's parents in Hershey, PA (sort of our Second Christmas since we were on Long Island with my family for Christmas).
They do a big thing in Hershey Park for New Year's and drop a giant hershey kiss!
It should be a lot of fun. His whole family will be there. I'm looking forward to it!

Re: New Years Plans
We could not find many places that were under $100 per person and with the wedding and Christmas, we are almost broke. We really didn't want to just stay in so we are going to an early dinner than going to Dave and Busters to play some games, drink a little, and watch the ball drop. You don't have to pay that per person fee if you don't want to eat there or have the open bar.

The place I am going to is actually $90 per person and that includes food and open bar all night.

I know a very good italian restaurant, but i think they are charging $125 pp that night, not sure.
I am going to this place luca lounge, it is food and open bar all night for $90pp...they also have the option of just paying per drink like you normally would at a bar.
