Since christmas was ripped out from underneath me by my aunt! We decided to have a new years eve party! In my family the minute the little wennies (haha) come out of the oven they are gone you cant even get them off the pan! When I met my DH I told him how you need to have fist fights over them! LOL!!!
What should we have! What are your favorite Treats for new years or for any holiday!?

spinach dip in a bread bowl-so easy.... ge the knorr dried vegetable soup mix (or spring vegetable soup mix not sure which)-the recipe is on the box...it's sooo good, just be sure to get two round loaves of bread, one to use as the dip holder, and one to rip up for people to dunk!

Okay, the weenies got me thinking so I have to ask ... has anyone ever heard of having them (not in the blanket) cooked in Guava Jelly????????
It's a DH family tradition and just another food thing they do I never heard of in my life (along with Pot Roast in Ginger Snap gravy!).

We always make these tortilla things - not sure what they are called: spread cream cheese, green onions, red pepper and shredded cheese on a tortilla, roll it up, and slice. YUM!

Okay, DH makes something I call White Trash Pinwheels - a pickle wrapped in cream cheese-covered bologna. It's the most bizarre food item I've ever experienced.

That Ginger Snaps thing is big with my SIL (she's Austrian). It makes me ill, but she also makes a mean dumpling, so I can't complain too much!
