New York City Themes

Hi Everyone,
My fiance and I are hoping to pick your brain for a second. Does anyone have any creative ideas for planning a New York City themed engagement party? We got engaged in NYC and thought it would be cute to use it as our theme.

maybe you can name each table after a building in the city and have a pic of the building on the table

have your invited look like broadway play bills

serve real nyc food

Have lights EVERYWHERE!!

Serve hotdogs and pretzels...

Oh my gosh! This is a favorite theme of mine! My sister just moved to North Carolina and I wanted to throw her a NY themed going away party but I didn't have enough time for everything. Here were some of my ideas...

Postcards for invitations. Pretzels and hotdogs served. NY themed music. Apples for placecards. Subway maps incorporated somehow. And you know that I <3 NY thing... maybe you can change that to your innitials but with the same font.

Such a cute theme. I'm going to keep thinking!
