Mine was $40.00 and I think that is the cost for Nassau & Suffolk. NYC is always different, so that may be a different price.

Inside the NYC limits- the five boroughs it is $30, outside of them it is $40. I got that directly from the NYS site.

Stupid question: You have to get the license in the county in which you're having the ceremony, right?

Nope...I got married in LI and got my license in westchester. I think its just the same state.
