ok so I'm buying an Oleg Cassini collection from david's bridal and i currently live in Florida.. i dont know if i should buy the dress here and fly it to ny for my wedding (although we'll probably be driving since we'll have so many things to bring and will need a car to drive around) or should i buy it in ny? i'll be in ny a decent amount of time. im so confused on what to do. how long before the wedding do you have your fittings?

I say get it there in Florida. When you get the call that it's in, you'll want to see it for various reasons. My fittings started about 5 weeks before the wedding day.

Florida because you know that your dress is correct. You can do fittings earlier too if you need to.

Florida, and make sure to make the ready date a few dates earlier just in case.

i guess i should order the dress here... i dont know if i should get my alterations at davids. i always hear bad stuffa bout davids alterations but im wondering if its just the westbury store.
