Newbie!

Hi everyone! I am new to li weddings, and just wanted to say hi!

My fiancé and I got engaged on May 17, 2013! We would like to get married around the end of 2014 around sept or nov, but we need to find an apartment first!

We are living with FH parents ( sharing everything, one bathroom kitchen, sleeping in the room next to FMIL..ahhh) and before we can even talk wedding business, we were told that we have to find an apartment first. While I know that is probably the best thing to do, it's still frustrating because all I want to do is start planning.

Sorry for the little rant...but is there anyone else going through this so I know I am not alone.

Congrats and Welcome. Trust me once you get everything all settled it will be much easier planning. Although if you have a specific day or venue in mind I recommend booking that and then worrying about the rest after you've settled in your new place.
FH and I live below his parents so Trust me I get it! lol I can't wait until we can have our own place and privacy! lol But Since the rent is cheap and we're saving for a wedding I grin and bear it lol.

Oh and don't apologize for the Rant, that's what LI Weddings is for! hahah

Thank you! We still haven't even thought of venues yet, but we are mainly looking at venues that have an all inclusive package. Thank you though for your input! :)

Yes privacy is a big thing haha.

Same with us, we are living at FMIL's house and she drives me CRAZY! We have been saving to buy a house so living there has helped out financially but I can't wait to get out of there lol!
